Gift Aid

Where you have provided a valid Gift Aid declaration, Street Souls will use your personal information to make Gift Aid claims to HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC).

Gift Aid allows Street Souls to recover additional funds from HMRC on eligible donations at no extra cost to you.

You are responsible for notifying Street Souls if your circumstances change and you no longer pay sufficient UK Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax to cover the amount of Gift Aid claimed.

How your data is stored

Our website is hosted on Squarespace, which securely stores website content, form submissions, and donation records on our behalf.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

How long we keep your data

We only keep personal data for as long as necessary:

  • Contact enquiries are retained only for as long as needed to respond and follow up.

  • Donation records are retained for the period required by UK charity and financial regulations.

  • Gift Aid declarations and related records are retained for the period required by HM Revenue & Customs (currently generally six years after the date of the claim).

When personal data is no longer required, it is securely deleted.
